Cazcanes No. 7 Rosa Añejo is a one-time expression that brings together long-aged stocks and careful blending to create something deeply expressive and intentionally rare.

Composed from a curated three-barrel blend, this release was aged independently in two freshly emptied, uncharred French oak wine barrels and one lightly re-charred American oak bourbon barrel before being brought together by taste, not dictated by time. The French oak contributes subtle fruit character and gentle structure, while the bourbon barrel adds depth, warmth, and natural sweetness — resulting in a refined, harmonious profile shaped by balance and restraint.

Layered and expressive, No. 7 Rosa Añejo opens with aromas of oak, cinnamon, vanilla, and a subtle jalapeño warmth, lifted by hints of warm brandy and cracked pepper. The palate unfolds with honeyed richness, red berries, and ripe cherries, balanced by gentle spice and subtle wine-barrel character. The finish is long and composed, revealing notes of apricot, peach, and soft butter, leaving a lingering warmth and refined fruit character. Crafted to be sipped slowly and savored, this expression reflects nearly a decade of patience — from agave field to glass.

Only 600 bottles were produced. Available exclusively on the Cazcanes website. This limited edition release will not be recreated.

THE LOST ART OF TEQUILA MAKING

In today’s world of industrialized tequila, shortcuts are common, and authenticity is often the first thing sacrificed.

At Cazcanes, we’ve chosen a different path—reviving the traditional, time-honored methods that defined tequila before it became a commodity.

This isn’t just tequila—it’s the revival of a lost art.
