Our No. 9 Reposado rested in a barrel that previously held Eau de Vie Mirabelle, a traditional fruit spirit made from hand-harvested Mirabelle plums at peak ripeness. As our tequila rested, it took on the delicate character the plums left behind: a hint of stone fruit and floral sweetness that settles into the agave rather than competing with it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eRich with baking spice and butterscotch, this expression opens with aromas of vanilla butter toast, butterscotch, stone fruit, green apple and grapefruit. On the palate, layers of sweet apple, caramel, butterscotch, fig and plum jam, butter and marzipan unfold with balance and restraint. The finish shows hints of key lime pie and anise, long and refined.
